Overview

South from Jonathon Hill car park we cross Newtown Common, Burghfield Common and Herbert Plantation to reach Adbury Farm. Followig paths and lanes we reach and ross Sydmonton common.
Following lanes and paths we pass south of Arbuthnoit woods and return to the car park.

The walk crosses three commons and a plantation although it has some stretches on quiet country lanes.

There are a few gentle inclines but no large hills. there are a few stiles to cross.

Parking is limited in Jonathon Hill car park but  there is plenty of car parking in the village hall car park that is nearby,

Bring food and drink for a mid morning snack.

The number of walkers is not limited but please use the booking system by 6pm on Monday 7th July.

From the Swan Roundabout take the road left in front of the Swan Pub. Continue uphill passing the church on your right the car park is on the left where the road turns right.
