Hungerford circuit

We walk from the car park across the common westwards to South View and then find our way through the urban area, cross the Salisbury Road and continue to wend our way to Smitham’s Bridge Road. Soon after we cross the stream we turn southwards and follow the course upstream to Standen Manor. 
 

We will then turn west and north to North Standen House and onwards to cross the railway and eventually reach the canal. We will then follow the canal back to town and continue till we reach the rail underpass that leads back to the common and we return to the cars across the common.
