Overview

Starting from the car park east of the Pease Hill crossroads on Bucklebury Common, we will cross over the Common Road heading south westwards to Tomlins. We then turn northward and wend our way round the cemetery and back to the centre of Upper Bucklebury.

We then walk down Long Grove and turn to head for Wimble's Wood and Harts Hill Road. There is a short stretch along this road when care is needed as it is busy. Then we continue on to Briff Lane before heading into the woods ad wend our way around Bucklebury Common (west) to The Slade.

Turning eastwards we will make our way round Briff Farm and to Sadgrove Farm, then find our way back to the car park.

The entrance to the car park is east of the Pease Hill crossroads on the Bucklebury Common Road. It is on the NORTH side of the road and the entrance is very narrow so care is needed on the approach. Extreme care is also needed when leaving as visibility is limited and traffic is fast. There is plenty of space in the car park, however.
