Overview

Our walk takes us inland from High Newton to a viewpoint from Kelsoe Hill, and then follows the coastal path south. We take in Dunstan Steads, Dunstan Square and The Heughs (Whin Sill), and pass Dunstanburgh Castle.  The return goes by Newton Point, Football Hole beach and Newton Links House to High Newton.

Option for a 7.5 mile walk by returning from a cut-off point at Low Newton.
