A circular walk starting from the north side of Hove station. Walking across Hove park, continuing through Three Cornered Copse and onto the Downs. Stopping for lunch at Saddlecombe farm where this is a small open air cafe. After, returning to the start via Round Hill and skirting Hangleton.
Plenty of trains and buses to the start. The #7 bus will take you direct to Hove station. The meeting point is on the north side of the station (not the main entrance). If on the south side, go over the public footbridge to Hove Park Villas.
Parking available at Hove station car park for £2.90 for the whole day.
If you can, please RSVP to this walk via our Meetup site. This will give the walk leader a rough idea of how many people may be attending. If you are a paid up member of the Ramblers organisation, you can ignore any waitlist you may find yourself on.
We don't ask you to pay to join us on your first three walks. Afterwards, in order to continue walking with our group, you must become a paid-up member of the Ramblers. Click here (https://www.ramblers.org.uk/membership) to apply. The cost is very reasonable and there are also other benefits. Please then bring your membership card with you.
