Overview

A flat introductory walk which will be walked at the pace of the slowest. The planned route is up the Downslink to the wooden bridge, cross the river, walk down by the houseboats and then across to shoreham beach board walk, along to shoreham fort and return via the river and roads. The route may be shortened if muddy. THIS WALK WILL NOT TAKE PLACE IN BAD WEATHER such as strong winds or rain. Toilets at shoreham fort. You can also leave the walk at several points such as the Norfolk Bridge or after the houseboats. We meet at the Ropetackle by the Giant Bike store.
