Overview

This delightful walk takes us into the Geltsdale Nature Reserve.

The walk covers rolling hills from Forest Head, then down Howgill and Cat Crag, past the RSPB Visitor Centre at Stagsike. We then circumnavigate the southern path near Tindale Tarn and return via a disused railway line and Clowsgill Holme.

The terrain is on well defined paths which may be boggy in places and quiet country lanes.
