We are the York Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This circular walk goes from Huggate via the Chalkland Way to Oxlands and Shortlands Dale, a short walk along minor roads before joining part of the Minster Way then rejoining the Chalklands Way, Frendal Dale, Tun Dale and then back to Huggate.
There is a cafe and pub for refreshments at Huggate, if time permits, before catching the bus back to Pocklington.

Catch the 09.13 X47 bus from York Railway Station or 09.21 at Stonebow (please keep hold of your ticket as this can be used on the next bus) which arrives at Pocklington bus station at 09.59. We then catch the Wolds Explorer 200 at 10.10 to arrive in Huggate for 10.40.
The return bus from Huggate is 16.50 arriving at Pocklington at 17.20 where there are plenty of buses back to York.
