Overview

Starting from Marles Wood car park we follow the riverside path to Dinckley Bridge before climbing up to Hurst Green. We then follow good paths past Greengore before descending to Stydd near to Ribchester. Return is across Ribchester Bridge and the lane past Salesbury Hall.

Park at Marles Wood Car Park off Ribchester Road. At Ribchester Bridge join Ribchester Road on the south of the river. Continue past Salesbury Hall to climb a hill. Car park is on the left near to the top of the hill.
