Overview
This flat walk explores the forest, shore and dunes of Tentsmuir Point nature reserve, with plenty of wildlife interest in the Firth of Tay and in the forest itself. This is an area of shifting sands and dunes, where the dunes are actively and quickly reclaiming land from the sea. We visit a 19th century ice-house, built to chill salmon caught on the shore. There is a new education centre nearby, with sheltered seating areas.
