Overview

This varied walk from Pitlochry climbs Craigower Hill, with great views down Strath Tay and across to Loch Tummel. We then haed towards Killiecrankie with its visitor centre, cafe and toilets. The return walk to Pitlochry is past the Soldier's Leap, along the banks of the River Garry and by Loch Faskally.

Muddy terrain is possible but there are well-marked paths. Suitable walking footwear and clothing should be worn and spares carried, appropriate for the weather on the day. Care is required in the busy streets of Pitlochry.

Although there is a cafe en route, walkers should always bring food and fluids with them. 

For car share to and from Leys Park, the distance is 114 miles, so passengers should give the driver £8.
