We are the East Cheshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This 10 mile moderate walk starts at the NT car park at Ilam Hall. About 1400ft of ascent.
Leaving Ilam Hall car park we walk through the village then over fields past the Izaak Walton hotel, through Dovedale ( hopefully before the crowds descend) Stanhope, Castern Hall and back along the river to the hall.
We will have a coffee and lunch stop.

The walk starts at the National Trust car park at Ilam Hall. The car park is free to NT members and £7 for the day for non NT members.
