We start in Inkberrow and walk south to the Lenches mostly over fields. We visit Rous Lench first, where we will take our first break, then continue to Church Lench and then Atch Lench. We then turn north towards the beautiful village of Abbots Morton and then back to Inkberrow. Our lunch break will be soon after leaving Atch Lench and we will take a brief afternoon break in Abbots Morton.
Lench is and old English word meaning hilly area; there are several slopes on the walk, none are long or very steep. When we recce'd the walk, there were some muddy areas on the woods but we hope that they will have dried by the time we walk. The walk is a mixture of fields, woodland and minor roads. Some of the paths are quite uneven.
Bring lunch as well as drinks and snacks for two breaks.
