Overview

The walk will start at 9.45 from the small car park at Hornshurst Wood, TQ556 308.
Take the road past Rotherfield Village Hall and school, and the car park is on the left just after the cemetery on the right - not very big so car share where possible.
A mixture of woodland paths and quiet lanes and a permissive path up to Saxonbury Tower. Some inevitable patches of mud, but no stiles and a very nice tea room at the end.
