Along this walk we will make our way out of Ironbridge up out of the gorge. This is a steady uphill and sometimes quite muddy. Once at the top we will navigate a few fields heading towards Benthall Hall. From here the route takes us through a meadow towards woodland where the trail desends via wooden steps back to Ironbridge
Once back at the path, we will continue towards and cross Jackfield Bridge to have a quick stop at the Bedlam blast furnaces.
To finish we can grab a brew or a beer which ever will be decided on the day.
The route has a steady climb out of the gorge which can get quite muddy, so I would recommend waterproofs, gaitors and poles to assist. Making our way back down into the gorge has wooden steps which can be slippery and muddy at intervals between.
Most of the route will be a well graded path.
I'd recommend meeting at 0930 at Dale end car park to head off at 1000.
