Overview

Mostly woodland walking taking in the major industrial monuments of the Ironbridge Gorge and Coalbrookdale. We pass through the Blists Hill Museum carpark for coffee then visit the Rotunda a viewing platform with an impressive view over the river.  We walk through Lee Dingle, Lloyds Coppice, Dale Coppice and follow the Shropshire Way for part of the walk, stopping in Rough Park for lunch.  We pass the Quaker Burial Ground where Abraham Darby was buried, the builder of the Iron Bridge and we see the various museums on our way round.  We also pass the Birthplace of Billy Wright who played for Wolverhampton Wanderers and England. There are some steepish paths but nothing too strenuous.
