We are the Kingston Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

From Kingston station we walk through streets to Isabella Plantation in Richmond Park to look out for the Brimstone butterfly often seen there in March. We then walk to Pen Ponds and Sidmouth Woods. Lunch stop is at Pembroke Lodge. We then head to Petersham Road to explore parts of Ham. including Ham Avenues. Skirting Ham House we find the river and our walk back to Kingston to finish at the Boaters Inn in Canbury Gardens. The pub is just north of Kingston town. A ten minute walk south from the pub along the river brings you to Kingston bridge.
Lunch stop at Pembroke Lodge where there are plenty of benches for picnicers. The park has red and fallow deer from which we keep our distance and the route may be altered slightly to accommodate that if the need arises - for this reason no dogs allowed on this walk. There may be mud. Toilets at Isabella and Pembroke Lodge.
Meet outside main entrance to Kingston Railway Station at 10.00.
The Boaters Inn is in Canbury Gardens about a ten minute walk south along the river to Kingston bridge.
