Overview

This is an urban walk, taking in three Sheffield parks. It's mainly on hard paths with some road walking, though one section through woodland could be wet and muddy. Sticks would be a good idea if it's going to be slippy.

Catch the number 1 bus which leaves Stand Ag13 on Arundel Gate (opposite the back of the Central Library) at 9.41. We get off at Norton Lane/Cloonmore Drive. The walk starts at the Chantrey Memorial (obelisk) in front of historic Norton St James Church at 10.10.

We'll walk a loop round Graves Park on a high level path, then follow the Sheffield Round Walk route down through woodland and Meersbrook Park, giving great views over the city. We then join the River Sheaf Walk, finishing in Millhouses Park.

No dogs please.
