Overview

Join us for a local 6.2 mile easy walk from Abbey Foregate car park, through Abbey Gardens over the footbridge across the River Severn, walking across to the Flaxmill and Greenfields. The route will go via Coton Hill Community Allotments, exploring the lovely countryside and Round Hill woodland nearby, whilst enjoying some mulled wine and festive treats at the allotments, weather-dependent.  The return will be along Chester Street and up to Town Walls to visit St Chad's Christmas Tree Festival, to see if we can spot the Ramblers' Christmas Tree! There will be a focus on Christmas crackers during the walk, so if you want to devise a cracker joke relating to rambling, that will add to the hilarity. Please book with the walk leader by text ONLY.
