Overview

This is a wander around Newark visiting some of the key locations relating to the life and work of Robert Kiddey, sculptor and artist of Newark.  Depending on time, we shall call in to the Newark Gallery of the National Civil War Centre and the Newark Town Hall Museum, where there are exhibitions of his art.  Coffee stop en route only.  If you wish to picnic, you can do so at the end of the walk at the Riverside. Although you may be tempted by some of the cafes of Newark, especially if the weather is bad !

Please register for this walk on Newark Ramblers website where you will also find details of our car share scheme.

Please note the slightly later than usual start time. This is to allow for ramblers coming into Newark by bus on the 29 from Mansfield/ Southwell and the 24 from Fernwood/Balderton.
