An exploration of the historic waterway as well as unusual views of the cathedral from the base of the Lincoln escarpment - AND the walk is (largely) mud-free!
The walk starts from the free car park in the attractive modern marina of Burton Waters. Although the walk is completely flat it is not a short walk and a degree of "walk-fitness" is needed.
Cafe and pub refreshments are available in Burton Waters but do still bring some with you as there will be the usual breaks en route.
