Starting from All Saints church, this walk is pretty flat and on field paths and tracks. With pleasant views of the East Yorkshire countryside, we pass through the villages of Burton Agnes, Harpham and Lowthorpe, where we can see the roofless ruins of the former chancel at the historic parish church.
This walk is graded as moderate due to the distance and the biggest challenge we're likely to encounter, which is mud! Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear 🥾
🅿️ Free on-street parking is available near the church, please park with consideration for the residents, and we suggest car-sharing where possible
🥪 You will need to bring a packed lunch
🐶 Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times – please bear in mind that we will be walking through fields with livestock and we do have two busy road crossings
🍺 After the walk, we can go for a drink at The Old Star pub
Midlife Hikers is a Ramblers group for people in their 40s and 50s, and our walks are led by volunteers. Non-members are welcome to try us out for free for up to 3 walks but then we ask you to join the Ramblers
