We walk from Holme to Digley reservoir then across moorland to join the Pennine Way for 2 miles. Descending, passing further reservoirs, we arrive at Marsden for our return train journey.

Catch 08.01 train from York to Huddersfield which arrives at 09.20. Then catch the 09.56 bus from Huddersfield to Holme arriving at 10.38 where we start the walk.
We return on the 14.30 train from Marsden to York arriving at 15.30.
