Overview

A linear walk using tracks, field paths and quiet roads.   Starting near Stockton Hall we walk to Gate Helmsley via  Warthill where we will have an early lunch stop by the pond.  After a short section next to the main A166 road , we cross with care near Scoreby Grange and proceed to Dunnington  from where there are several buses per hour back to York.

Those who wish can leave the walk at Gate Helmsley and return to York on the No10 First York Bus (roughly every 40 mins).

There are two well made stiles on the first section, and hopefully no significant mud.
