A leisurely walk through woodland and sandstone outcrops with some surprisingly far-reaching views of north Shropshire.
We will explore one of Shropshire’s less well-known National Trust sites, featuring oak woods and sandstone hills, before looping around the Weston Heath tree plantation.
Regrettably, we won’t quite make it to Bury Walls Iron Age hill fort, but we’ll channel our inner Giles nevertheless. 🧙
Picnic on route (pack those sandwiches!). 🥪
Drinks at the Stanton Arms following the walk (and perhaps more food?).🍻
