We will approach Caer Caradoc from Church Stretton. Our path upward winds around the hill in a relatively gentle route up. The ascent is still fairly steep but we will take our time and it is well worth it for the sweeping views of the surrounding hills. We will have lunch in the Iron Age hill fort at the top, before descending along the ridge of the hill, past the finger rocks and back down into the valley.
Hiking boots are recommended for this walk.
