Overview

Today’s walk will take place from Innamorati Garden (aka The Waggon and Horses) at Great Amwell, followed by optional lunch at Innamorati.

This 6 mile walk (approx) will follow a circular route that combines the New River and the Lee Navigation, taking in the green spaces of Hertfordshire and wildlife of the Lee Valley. We will walk alongside St John the Baptist Church which is one of the earliest churches in Hertfordshire dating back to the 11th century. The footpaths and the towpaths alongside the river are generally flat and suitable for various fitness levels.

Pre orders for lunch will be taken from 9.45 a.m. Please arrive in good time to place your order prior to the start of the walk.
