Overview

We follow Regent's Canal, with detours through Mile End Park (info boards about local history) and Victoria Park (toilets), to Granary Square, a few minutes' walk from the entrances to underground and mainline stations.  Very little road walking apart from the short stretch in Islington where the canal passes through a tunnel and we cross a main road and walk through the crowds in Chapel Market.

Lunch: plenty of possibilities at the end of the walk.  Depending on conditions, we could have a short snack break just before the tunnel.

Train: Limehouse Station (Zone 2) is served by the DLR and National Rail.  Return from King's Cross St Pancras Underground and St Pancras International (Thameslink), Zone 1
