We are the Sheffield Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The 'A' walk follows part of the Viking Way in the Lincolnshire Wolds AONB so expect moorland, rolling hills, hidden valleys and woods. Our walk links the market towns of Caistor and Market Rasen and goes via Nettleton, Normanby Le Wold, Walesby (Ramblers Church) and Risby.
The route mostly follows field paths and tracks with some road walking, negotiating 34 gates but there are no stiles.
A shorter 'B' walk will follow a different section of the Viking Way.
The coach will depart from outside the Penny Black in Pond Street at 08:00 and leave Market Rasen (TBC) at 18:00 for the return to Sheffield at 18:00.

Coach will drop us off (at around 10:00 by Caistor CoOp for access to nearby public toilets.
Suggest having coffee break before we set off.
We finish at Market Rasen which has a number of pubs, cafe's, chippies, an ATM, shops and supermarkets, etc.
