Overview

Area Sunday Strenuous Walk.

Distances are over 10 miles.

Circular walk. No booking required.

Distance - 12.5 miles

The walk will start at Littleborough station after the arrival of the 09.54 from Manchester Victoria due at 10.11.

Note: walkers are advised to check one of the rail websites such as nationalrail or trainline close to the departure time in case of late changes to the running of the train.

Train ticket - Littleborough station is within the Greater Manchester boundary so concessionary card holders may travel for free, otherwise an off peak return from Victoria to Littleborough.

Car parking is available at Littleborough station.

Walk route - Lydgate, Aiggin Stone, Rook Stone Hill, Higher Booth
