Meeting Place and Start of Walk - Meet @ 09.20 at Manchester Piccadilly station to catch the 09.31 train to New Mills Central. The leader may join the group at New Mills where the walk will start after the arrival of the train, due @ 10.00
Note: walkers are advised to check one of the rail websites such as nationalrail or trainline close to the departure time in case of late changes to the running of the train.
Train Ticket - Off peak day return to New Mills Central. If you have a TfGM Concessionary Pass, train travel is free to Strines so you just need a Strines to New Mills Central return ticket.
Stop Car Parking - Paying car parks available in New Mills

Expected time back in New Mills - about 13.30 in time for the return train at 14.00. After that, the next return train is at 15.03.
Walking boots and clothes (waterproof anorak in wet weather conditions) are essential
