Overview

Please assemble at Betws y Coed Railway Station in time to board the 09.02 to North Llanrwst Station. A ticket will cost £2.00 (or £1.30 with a railcard) that you should buy in advance. This linear walk starts at North Llanrwst Station and visits the famous Fairy Falls in Trefriw before taking an established woodland path up to Llyn Geirionnydd gaining 800ft of ascent over 4 miles. The route then descends to the Ty-hyll (ugly house) on the A5 and follows the Snowdonia Slate Trail taking in the breathtaking Swallow Falls from a spectacular view point.

Carnedd Moel Siabod dominates the majestic Snowdonia landscape to the west and we will take a little time to stand and drink it all in. Please remember to bring sufficient food and liquids for this trip together with your outdoor gear. ICE card and stout leather boots for this mountainous terrain.
