We are the East Cheshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
From Nelson Pit we will walk along the canal and then up to Green Farm and then up into Lyme Park, climbing up 800ft. We will have coffee stop at the Timberyard and then head up to the Cottage through Pursefield Wood. We will return back down to West Park gate and then up across Hase Bank before coming back through Haresteads Farm which is muddy.
Please bring poles and they will be needed as track is quite rough.
Please note this walk will have moderate climbs in several places.
Please bring coffee unless you wish to purchase at the cafe, and ICE cards.

Meet at 10.00am at Nelson Pit Car Park, Higher Poynton, SK12 1TH There is also parking along the road, and toilets available in the car park.
