We are the Scarborough and District Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Walk from Lythe north to Overdale Farm joining the Cleveland Way which we follow along the coast to Kettleness and Runswick Bay. This is a strenuous section with open cliff top, numerous steps and a short rocky gully down to the beach. Poles useful.
Return via Westfields Farm and Mickleby. Option to return to Lythe on bus from Mickleby after 7 miles.
Refreshments available at the White Hart Inn, Mickleby where you're welcome to join us at 1.45pm for a 3 mile walk back to Lythe via West and East Barnby. Bus back along main road. Please let leader know if you want to do one of these shorter options.
Dogs on lead (for entire duration of walk) are welcome, but morning section is exposed, livestock in fields and lots of stiles in the afternoon.
Total length 10 miles. Shorter options of 7 miles AM or 3 miles PM are available using the bus. Estimated finish time 3.30pm
