Overview

Starting at the winter-proof Teggs Nose Top CP (P&D), we drop down and then up around the outside of Macc Forest to a high point of 1558ft. Continuing via St.Stephen's for morning break, the route takes to the higher fell via Buxtors Hill and Shutlingsloe 1660ft. We then have a wintry crossing of Piggford Moor before returning on familiar tracks via the Hanging Gate and the Gritstone Trail.As a final bonus, there is the climb back up to the Top CP.Refreshments will be taken at Sutton Hall.Expect some mud, possible wintry ice on the top fell.
