Overview

A walk mostly in the nature reserve over tracks and footpaths. Extra parking outside the car park along Port Warrington road. Notices state that dogs must be on leads along certain areas of the reserve. Depending on the ground conditions and weather there may be a short detour around a ploughed field leading onto the trans pennine way. No styles, a few stepped areas but not severe. There are a few fallen trees that need to be circumnavigated. Total cumulative ascent 50 ft. Tel 07899035673. Dogs on 2m leash. AM. Booking is not necessary for this walk
