A walk mostly in the nature reserve over tracks and footpaths. Extra parking outside the car park along Port Warrington road. Notices state that dogs must be on leads along certain areas of the reserve. Depending on the ground conditions and weather there may be a short detour around a ploughed field leading onto the trans pennine way. No styles, a few stepped areas but not severe.
