The walk is led by Elizabeth and Julie.
This varied circular walk from Market Bosworth Marina passes through Market Bosworth country park, Sutton Cheney, the Bosworth Heritage Centre and Shenton station. There is some beautiful countryside and we will pass some points of interest. There are four lots of toilets and only one stile :) Lunch will be at the Heritage Centre - you can bring your own and eat outside or buy something from the cafe. At the end if you wish to stay and have ice cream or a drink at the Marina, this will be possible.
The start point is Market Bosworth Marina at 10am. We aim to finish around 3pm. The walk is moderately easy terrain, but it is 9.5 miles long.
On the pre walk we wore shorts and didn't come across any nettles or similar.
As you approach the Marina, the right hand, gated car park is for boaters only. Go straight on into the car park with no gate, marked 'for patrons of Bosworth Marina'. Pay £3 per car in the shop before the walk begins. There are also toilets accessible from the lounge area opposite the shop which you can use before the walk.
