We are the Loughborough & District Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The walk starts from the lovely historic village of Queniborough which appears in the Domesday Book The old part of the village has some thatched houses dating back to the 16th century.
Parking for the walk is on the main Queniborough high street opposite Queniborough C of E Primary School. Please park responsibly in the street.
We head down Coppice Lane towards the fields and head for Gaddesby where we will have a short break for coffee etc. We carry on towards Barsby and then onto South Croxton before returning to Queniborough. The fields are undulating and sheep graze in them.
Please park on Main Street/ Queniborough High Street opposite the Primary School. Bring a packed lunch. A few styles on the route. Optional pub stop at end of the walk.
