Meet: Fox Inn, Matching Tye. W3W: cards.retail.stored
You may use the Fox Inn car park if you intend to patronise the pub, otherwise it is usually possible to park around the triangular green.
The walk starts at Matching Tye which has a miniature green and some splendid houses. Matching Green, as its name suggests, has a vast green housing a cricket ground and pavilion and surrounded by a profusion of beautiful buildings. The main treat is tiny Matching. The trio of Church, Marriage Feasting Hall and Oak tree must be one of the most popular images in Essex.
At the end of the circular walk, at about 13.30: The Fox Inn.
