Overview

Meet ready for walk off at 10.00 at Cooper’s Hill Car Park (Free) Cooper's Hill Lane, Englefield Green, Egham TW20 0LF. Grid reference Explorer 160 SU996719.

We will start by walking down the Cooper’s Hill Slopes, across Runnymede to the river and to the first of the memorials. After coffee (Café or DIY) we will see The Haymakers, The Last Survivors and more memorials. There will be lovely views whilst we have a bit of a workout up the slopes and down through the Woods before the final walk up to return to the car park. Total climbs around 500ft. It won’t be a race! Poles recommended if usually used for ascents and descents.

For info: Drinks in the café - Bring your own Reusable cup for discount of 25p. Steps up to the JFK memorial may be slippery if wet.
