We are a very active and friendly Ramblers group. Our programme explores the most attractive countryside in the surrounding area including the Surrey Hills.

A fairly easy walk of 7-8 miles starts at 10.15am on Englefield Green nearest postcode TW20 0YX go past the Barley Mow pub and cricket pavilion for roadside parking. We walk via Bishopsgate to the park village where coffee should be available and here take a break. We then head off to Dukes Lane where the Royal party who are heading to Ascot races "Changeover" from their Limo's to Landaus! Before this happens we will have our picnic lunch here, please bring all your own food and drinks although in recent times a stall selling cakes has been has been setup. If you have a lightweight seat it's a good idea to bring it as we spend about an hour here to soak up the atmosphere! Fingers crossed for fine weather then the carriages will stay open.
