Take the A4130 north out of Henley and turn right on the B480 through Lower Assendon. At Middle Assendon park on the left hand side of the road in the parking lay-by just before the Rainbow Inn. NB: in November 2024 the Rainbow had a Sale Agreed sign; I'm not sure if it will have a new name, or indeed even be a pub by the time of the walk.
