Overview

An easy, mostly urban walk from Coton Hill, into Shrewsbury, out past the Flax Mill Maltings, through the beaver enclosure and back through Greenfields.  Mainly road walking, with a short section of field walking towards the end.

There are toilets at the Flax Mill Maltings, where there will be a short stop.

A selection of yuletide comestibles and liquid refreshment will be provided at the end of the walk

The walk will start and finish from outside 66 Berwick Road. There is a good amount of roadside parking in Berwick Road.  As usual, car sharing is encouraged.  For those wishing to use public transport, Bus 576 stops near to the start/finish.  The walk from Shrewsbury railway station takes around 15 minutes.
