Overview

The walk starts with a couple of miles on the Thornhill Trail, a disused railway line, before crossing Ladybower Dam. The route passes up through woodland onto Bamford Edge for some great views across the Hope Valley to Edale. After walking across the Moor, there is a steep descent along a disused road into Bamford via Bamford Mill and back to the start.
