Join Clive as he takes us on a lovely walk south along the Neath Canal.
This haven for wildlife is sandwiched between the River Neath and the busy road but we can enjoy the peace of the countryside while commuters fight their way to and from Neath.
At Giant’s Grave, we’ll cross through a few streets to enter Jersey Park.
From there, we’ll follow some Bridleways and streets back into the centre of Neath and our starting point.
Social after walk:
Afterwards, we will go for refreshments to a local hostelry.
Directions: Head east on Fabian Way (A483).
At Briton Ferry Bridge junction, follow signs for M4 West
Continue on the A483 (which is part of the M4)
Leave at Junction 43.
Follow A465 to Neath.
Take the Neath exit off the roundabout onto A474.
Exit left onto Milland Road before reaching the next roundabout.
Turn right then left into car park.
