We are the East Cheshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
We go along the canal to the footbridge, Green farm and along the track to Shrigley road, turn left and start to climb to Moorside, Keepers cottage and Dale Top turn left along gritstone trail to Bowstones, along the top of higher moor to park moor east. Through Lantern wood then down track to Lyme park toilets here and lunch stop. Crow wood, Elmerhurst wood,Ryles wood, Barlow house farm to the canal and back to cars.
Bring snacks lunch and drinks.

Start 10am at Nelsons pit car park, Higher Poynton. £4 all day, cash cards and RingGo app accepted. Some road parking available and lay-by. Toilets available.
