Overview

Medium walk – Moderate / Easy - 8 miles - Bring packed lunch.

Start at Timbersbrook car park and set off at 10:00am to climb Bosley Cloud, down the other side to see the emus and wallabys (yes this is England) continue along the Gritstone Trail/Staffordshire Way, towards Rushton Spencer. Lunch at St Lawrence church, after which we will head for Oulton, Woodhouse Green and pass the Bridestones, and will visit if there is anyone who has not seen them, before returning for exactly 8 miles. This is a version of a walk have done before but shortened to avoid the horrendous mud.

If your group's walk is fully booked come and join us, don't forget to bring a flask and packed lunch, we stop once for a drink and once more for lunch, setting off at 10:00 a.m. with whoever has turned up. Any queries contact Paul . Don’t be late.
