Route: Danebridge, Hangingstone Farm; along the ridge if the weather is good, on the lower path if not; Back Forest; Lud's Church (Chasm); banks of River Dane; return along Dane Valley Way.
Please note: a lot of the ascent is at the beginning of the walk up towards Hanging Stone, it may be muddy in places and there are some stiles on this walk but some lovely views. Unfortunately the larch wood on the way to Hangingstone Farm has had to be felled due to disease and is currently being replanted, so the beginning of the walk is not as scenic as usual.
Bring snack and drink for coffee stop.

Start at bridge near Wincle Brewery, Danebridge. Park along roadside between Ship Inn and the bridge.
