We will walk through Appledore Woods, along the stream at Linford bottom and across Rockford Common to lunch at The Red Shoot Inn (or picnic nearby). The pub is near the car park so it would be possible to walk for just the morning. In the afternoon we will take another route around the area to. the pub to finish back at the car park.
The pub will appreciate pre-orders for lunch and details will be circulated a week ahead.
Forest and common paths. No road walking, no stiles, and I think not even any gates!
