Overview

We leave New Radnor along School Lane and walk over stoney tracks and field trackways to reach Four Stones. We then follow a quiet lane to Kinnerton where we will lunch at St Mary’s Church. Leaving the church we follow the lane uphill eventually reaching a bridleway and grassy tracks. Following stoney tracks we pass Stanlow Tump, reaching open hillside with views across to Hergest Ridge and the Whimble. We return to New Radnor on forest tracks and a very steep, narrow lane.

All the climbing on this walk is after lunch. The first two miles are on very rutted and over grown tracks were care is needed. No stiles.
